Datesy Creative Brief

Product Launch: Make It Datesy

Make It Datesy is our launch campaign inviting creators to show how Datesy fits into real, everyday routines as the go-to sweetener: coffee, tea, shakes, overnight oats, yogurt bowls, roasted veggies, toast, or whatever you’re already making. The vibe is simple: swap it in, stir it up, and share your “sweetness that loves you back” moment.

Content should feel approachable and lived-in, not overly styled, showing the Datesy bottle naturally in the moment (on the counter, mid-pour, next to the finished dish) so people can instantly picture how they’d use it in their own everyday routine.

Creative Direction - Dos

  • Show Datesy in use or post-use: pouring, stirring, or drizzling make the product the hero.

  • Keep it lived-in & approachable: real kitchens, real cups, real countertops; “I actually use this.”

  • Include the bottle clearly in shots (label facing camera).

  • Show the “everyday swap”: “I replaced honey/agave/sugar with Datesy in ___.”

  • Highlight product info

  • Speak in your real voice: casual, confident, not salesy.

  • Take the lid off when pouring into baking recipes (measuring cups, teaspoons, etc)

Creative Direction - Don’ts

  • Don’t over-stage: no sterile, showroom kitchens or overly perfect prop setups.

  • Don’t hide the product: bottle should not be tiny, blurry, or always turned away.

  • Don’t use clutter that distracts: keep the frame intentional, not chaotic.

  • Don’t use harsh filters that distort the syrup color or label.

  • Don’t make major health claims (e.g., “treats diabetes,” “weight loss,” “cures inflammation”).

  • Don’t compare in a negative/mean way to other brands; keep it positive (“my new go-to”).

  • Don’t skip the CTA: always tell people what you made and how to try Datesy.
