Golden Garlic Everything Spread

Serves: Multi-use spread for flatbreads, sandwiches, toppings, etc | Time: 45 - 55 min

    • 1 whole bulb of garlic

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil (plus more for roasting)

    • 1½–2 tablespoons Datesy (adjust to taste)

    • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

    • Fresh cracked black pepper

  • Step 1: Roast the Garlic

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

    2. Slice the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves.

    3. Drizzle generously with olive oil.

    4. Wrap loosely in foil and roast for 35–45 minutes until soft and golden.

    5. Let cool, then squeeze the cloves out into a bowl.

    You want them caramelized and jammy, not dry.

    Step 2: Make the Spread

    In a bowl, mash the roasted garlic into a paste. If using more than one bulb, an immersion blender works great. 

    Stir in:

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil

    • 1½–2 tablespoons Datesy

    • Salt and pepper
